Yes they are! Every book was written about a story or event that our family (and the real Miss Ma’am) have gone through! That way, we can be honest and open about our experiences! Read the “Our Stories” section in our Community page for a more in-depth look at the true stories behind the books!

The books are created for children first. They tell fun, gentle, age-appropriate stories that little readers can enjoy on their own level.

The stories on our website are written more for the grown-ups. They go a little deeper into the real-life experiences that inspired each book — including the harder moments, the emotions behind them, and the parts of the journey that may not appear on the page.

Think of the books as the child’s version of the story, and the website as the story behind the story.

While children of all ages can enjoy the Miss Ma’am series, our current books were written with ages 0-4 in mind.

You can expect a warm, welcoming space built around connection, encouragement, and the beautifully imperfect moments of raising little ones. We’ll share real stories, helpful resources, behind-the-scenes updates, and opportunities for families to connect and share their own experiences. Above all, the Miss Ma’am community is a place to remind each other that none of us has to navigate parenthood alone.

Yes we do! We have a few coming up in towns near us. We will post dates and times as we know them! You can also meet Miss Ma’am at these events (and Bun Bun)!
